The first-round win means the Hornets will next take on Peabody at 3 p.m. Saturday in Woburn. Tenth-seeded Peabody won a 5-4 OT thriller over Danvers in the first round. North Reading finished the regular season at 16-4. Peabody went 9-8-3.
