North Reading Company Named One of Tops in Robot Biz
Boston Business Journal named the list that focuses on robotics companies in Massachusetts.

Pretty soon, we won’t even need those pesky, emotional humans. We’ve got robots to do everything, from surgery to cleaning houses to driving our cars.
The Boston Business Journal just released its “Largest Robotics Companies in Massachusetts” list, adding that the state is home to more than 100 companies and 10 universities that specialize in robots. In what is becoming the robot capital of the country, the BBJ dug in and named its Top 10.

North Reading’s Kiva Systems, which has 571 employees, is now owned by Amazon, and is based off Concord Street, made the list as number two:
“The Kiva Mobile-robotic Fulfillment System enables extremely fast cycle times with reduced labor requirements, from receiving to picking to shipping.”
