North Reading High Junior Jess Lezon led the way for the Hornets in a 56-41 win over Ipswich in the first round of the MIAA Division 3 North tournament on Tuesday.Lezon picked up <a href="http://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/2015/02/25/schrdpweb/sZKIaaMJL0pgDFUKk5NM4H/story.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">22 pounds and 14 rebounds in the win</a>.The seven-seeded Hornets next take on Winthrop, the number two seed in the tournament. Winthrop went 17-3 in the regular season. The quarterfinal game is at 7 p.m. Friday in Saugus.
