NRHS Students Document High School Before Demolition
Students are working together to preserve memories of the high school.

Ten North Reading High School students are working with NORCAM to produce a video that documents the current high school.
Joshua Shear, Kyle Hastings, Jackson Hastings, Cameron Hastings, Corey Witts, Ben Shufro, Peter Audier, Walter Nitzche, Ryan Newhall and Rebekah Aran are working together on the project.
According to Shear, Cameron Hastings thought of the idea to create the film. He wanted to capture the school before it's torn down.

"The video will be composed largely of interviews talking about the current high school, what it is like, what is unique about it, as well as what we can look forward to with the new high school," Shear said.
So far students, alumni and faculty have been interviewed. The students hope to conduct interviews with the selectmen and members of the School Committee and Secondary Schools Building Committee as well.
