Route 93 Lane Closures Planned for This Week

MassDOT encourages drivers to seek alternate routes to avoid delays.

Two lanes of Route 93 Northbound and Southbound in Wilmington and Woburn will be closed on Wednesday, March 11 through Friday, March 13.

MassDOT said two lanes will be closed on I-93 Northbound and Southbound between Exit 41 (Ballardvale Street/ Route 125) and Exit 37C (Commerce Way) between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to allow work crews to install pavement markings.

“MassDOT encourages drivers to seek alternate routes to avoid delays. Drivers who must travel through the affected area should expect delays, reduce speed and use caution while approaching and traveling through the work zone.

“The work is part of a $16.4 million project to resurface and rehabilitate this section of I-93.”
