North Reading, MA - A late winter system of snow squalls and ocean-effect snow has played havoc on local roads on Friday.At 6:30 p.m., North Reading police reported that roads in the town were getting icy and that there were multiple calls about poor road conditions.The DPW has been notified of the areas in need of treatment, according to police. The worst area is reported to be Rte. 62 near Middleton.
