Wilmington Resident Arrested, Charged for Operating Without License

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the North Reading Police Department from Friday through Sunday. The information is open to the public.

Arrests

At 10:36 p.m. Saturday, as the result of a motor vehicle stop on Park Street, Jordan K. Ungvarsky, 28, of 10 Boutwell St., Wilmington was arrested on charges of failure to stop at a stop sign and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Friday, April 5

• At 12:56 a.m., a caller reported that a car crashed into a barn on Chestnut Street. Both occupants of the vehicle were transported to the hospital.
• At 2:04 p.m., a caller requested assistance with an irate client. Police responded and the situation was resolved.
• At 4:42 p.m., a caller reported a syringe found on Kingston Street. Police disposed of the needle.
• At 4:54 p.m., a caller reported that his vehicle's drivers side window was knocked off while the vehicle was parked on Chestnut Street.
• At 7:30 p.m., a caller reported a fire on Oscars Way. The fire department responded.

Saturday, April 6

• At 11:45 a.m., a Park Street resident reported damage to her storm door that occurred while she was out that morning. 
• At 2:08 p.m., a caller reported erratic operation on Main Street. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.
• At 5:35 p.m., as the result of a motor vehicle stop on Park Street, a 30-year-old Everett man was summonsed on charges of driving without an inspection sticker and unlicensed operation.
• At 8:02 p.m., a caller reported a drunk male walking on Lowell Road. The caller was concerned that the male was going to be hit by a vehicle. The male was on the Wilmington town line when police arrived, so Wilmington Police transported the male.
• At 8:41 p.m., an Oak Avenue resident reported hearing an argument at the home next door. The caller saw a male trying to force his way into the house. As a result of the call, a 61-year-old North Reading male was held in protective custody.

Sunday, April 7

• At 3:17 p.m., an Anglewood Lane resident reported that her 79-year-old husband was driving, but he was not supposed to due to a recent surgery. Police located the male, who said he was on his way home.
