Your Weekend Weather in North Reading
Rain, rain go away! Some storms could produce heavy rain this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

After a bout with heavy rain and thunderstorms earlier this week, it looks as though North Reading residents might be in for some more wet weather this weekend.
This afternoon, Friday, June 12, is expected to be partly sunny with a high near 86 degrees. However, the National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the region. North Reading is forecast to have a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after midnight, some of which could produce heavy rain.
Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms are possible in western Massachusetts and northwestern Connecticut between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. Friday, according to the hazardous weather outlook. “The main threat will be locally strong to damaging wind gusts with hail a secondary concern,” the NWS said. Heavy rain could produce brief, very localized flooding.
