1. Wheaton College campus safety meeting
The Office of the President and SGA at Wheaton College, in collaboration with students advocates will be hosting a town hall meeting 5 p.m. in Hindle regarding campus safety and transparency.

2. Norton Playroom
All caregivers with infants and toddlers are welcome to stop by Trinitarian Congregational Church at 11 a.m. for this drop-in playgroup. Cost is $1 per child covers a snack and craft, with open play and a storytime.

3. Line dancing lesson
McMahon’s Countryside Grille will have a line dancing lesson at 6:30 p.m. Classes from a dance instructor are $6.

4. Cancer Support Group meeting
Sturdy Memorial Hospital holds a Cancer Support Group meeting every third of the month 7 to 8:30 p.m. in conference rooms A, B and C. The group is free and open to the public. For more information, call the oncology department at 508-236-7010.

5. High near 41, low around 19
Today there is a 60 percent chance of showers, mainly after 4 p.m. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. There will be increasing clouds, with a high near 48. Light southwest wind will become south 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 26 mph. Tonight there is a 90 percent chance of snow showers starting before 3 a.m. Little or no snow accumulation expected. Temperature low will be around 30. South wind will be 6 to 9 mph becoming west after midnight.
