Breaking And Entering, Pedestrian Hit, and OUI

The following information about recent local police incidents was supplied by the Norton Police Department. An arrest and/or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Nov. 20:

5:14 a.m. - E. Main St.

A caller reported a past breaking and entering incident at Red Mill Village. Extra patrols were requested for overnight hours.

2:59 p.m. - Fletcher Way

A caller reported her 16-year-old had been run over by a car in the driveway. A minor injury was reported and a report was taken.

7:06 p.m. - Mansfield Ave.

A female pedestrian was struck in a parking lot. The woman reportedly was conscious but had a knee injury. The woman was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

8:04 p.m. - Newcomb St.

Emergency officials responded to a chimney fire. All units returned within 45 minutes.

Nov. 21

3:15 p.m. - Mansfield Ave.

A caller reported a past hit and run with property damage. The car reportedly had American flags all over it. An investigation followed the incident.

Nov. 22

12:46 p.m. - Reservoir St.

Christina Camara, 42, of 2 Barberry Rd., Norton was arrested for suspicion of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and OUI liquor.
