The Holidays at the White House with Judy Bernstein

Historical performer, Judy Bernstein, will be presenting her program “The Holidays at the White House” at the Norton Public Library on Thursday, Nov. 17 at 10:30 a.m.

Come to this free program and hear Judy take us on a festive tour of the various ways our First Families have celebrated the Holiday Season. Judy will take us across the years from the Virginia hospitality of the Madisons and the New England traditions of the Adamses through the great nineteenth century Holiday celebrations to more recent celebrations by such First Families as the Eisenhowers, the Clintons, and the two Bush families.

As always Judy includes in her performance interesting stories and moments of sentiment and humor. Gala decorations and delicious feasts are just a few of the topics she will cover as she gives us insight into the diversity and heritage of our country reflected in our Presidential holiday commemorations.
