Norton Man Dies Following Scooter Crash
A 28-year-old Norton man died Monday night after his scooter collided with a car.
NORTON, MA — A 28-year-old man died Monday night after a car hit his scooter in Norton.
Mark Sullivan, of Norton, was driving his scooter down North Worcester Street when it collided with a gray Honda Accord around 9:30 p.m., the Norton Police Department said in a Facebook post.
Emergency responders found a bystander giving Sullivan CPR in the middle of the road and quickly joined in, but Sullivan died shortly after.

Police said that the driver, 18-year-old Jon Laprise, was not injured in the crash, and no charges have been filed against him as of Tuesday morning.
A portion of North Worcester Street was closed for about four hours after the incident, which remains under active investigation.
