Norton Man Reported Missing Last Month Found Dead

NORTON, MA — On Thursday, the Norton Police Department says a man who was reported missing in early August has been found dead.

Shannon Dolan, 38, of Norton, was reported missing on August 2, but had not been heard from since May, police say.

Over the course of several weeks, police conducted multiple searches for Dolan, but to no avail.

Though police did not say where or how his body was found, they said his death is not considered suspicious.

"Our thoughts are with him and his family," Norton police Chief Brian Clark said in a statement while thanking those who helped in the search.
