Norton Oxycodone Bust: Couple Arrested, Police Say

Norton police said oxycodone dealers Christine Deegan and Walter Hansen were arrested after an undercover investigation.

NORTON, MA — A Norton couple who moonlighted as oxycodone dealers were arrested Monday, police said. Christine Deegan, 48, and Walter Hansen, 52, were charged with drug possession with intent to distribute.

Police said the couple were the target of a two-month undercover investigation involving the Northern Bristol County Drug Task Force. Police said Deegan sold drugs to an undercover officer.

"Deegan and Hansen were involved in an ongoing conspiracy in which Deegan would have prescriptions filled and sell the bulk of the pills to Hansen, where he would then sell to other customers," Norton police said in a statement.
