Norton Police Officers Assist With Response to Boston Marathon Attack
Three Norton Officers, Members of the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council were sent to Boston to assist.

The Norton Police Department sent three officers to Boston to assist in the aftermath of the Boston Marathon attacks Monday.
Norton Police Chief Brian Clark said in an email Tuesday that the three officers are members of the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council, which was called up to Boston after the attack.
Although the names of the Norton officers are not being released at this time, he said one officer is assisting with the SWAT team, another is assisting on a motorcycle for traffic control and a third is assisting with investigations.

"The Norton Police department is deeply saddened by yesterdays events and offer our thoughts and condolences to the victims and families," Clark said. "We also are proud to assist the Boston Police and other law enforcement agencies during this time."
