
A month long investigation by the Norton Police Detective Division and the Northern Bristol County Task Force resulted in an arrest for the sale of illegal narcotics Saturday.
Members of the Norton Police Department and the Northern Bristol County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence on East Hodges Street in Norton. During the search, the resident of that address, Joshua Gilmore, 26, was placed under arrest. Over $3,600 cash was seized, along with over 190 Oxycontin and Oxycodone pills as a result of the search warrant.
Gilmore is charged with trafficking in a class A substance and possession of a class E substance. He is being held on $5,000 cash bail and will appear in the Attleboro District Court on Monday.
