Norton softball received a first round bye in the Div. 2 South Sectional tournament. The No. 2 Lancers will play the winner of No. 15 Medfield and No. 18 Dedham on Saturday at 4 p.m. The game will be at Norton High School. Norton finished the season with a 17-3 overall record. Medfield's overall record was 12-8 and Dedham's overall record was 11-9. A win on Saturday will propel the Lancers to the South Sectional quarterfinals.
