No Bail For Taunton Woman Who Stabbed Healthcare Worker
A woman is being held without bail after police say she stabbed a healthcare worker outside a Taunton hospital in an "unprovoked," attack.

TAUNTON, MA — A woman who stabbed a healthcare worker outside a Taunton hospital Tuesday in a "random and unprovoked" attack is being held without bail.
Victoria Disharoon, 28, of Taunton was arraigned in Taunton District Court Thursday on charges including assault and battery with a deadly weapon and a judge also ordered her to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
Police responded to a reported stabbing at Morton Hospital at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday to a 44-year-old woman who said she was outside the hospital on a break when the woman came up to her from behind, pulled her hair, and punched her multiple times in the back, according to the Taunton Police Department.

Once she was able to escape, she found a coworker to report the incident and realized she had suffered multiple stab wounds in her shoulders and neck from the attack, police said.
She was immediately treated and released from the hospital.

According to police, the woman says she did not know Disharoon and the attack was "completely random and unprovoked."
The woman was able to get a quick photo of Disharoon as she ran away from the hospital. Once police released the photo to the public Wednesday, multiple tips came in, leading police to make their arrest.
