Agenda for the Board of Selectmen, Dec. 20

Highlights from the agenda for the Board of Selectmen meeting.

The Norwood Board of Selectmen will meet in room 34 of Town Hall. Here are the highlights from issues on tonight's agenda:

  • Gerald Miller, superintendent of the Recreation Department will be submitting a monthly report of department’s activities.
  • Chief Bartley King of the NPD will be submitting liquor incident report in connection with the arrest of intoxicated female on charges of operating motor vehicle – for informational purposes.
  • The Mass. State Lottery Commission will be submitting communication advising that Good & Evil Convenience, 36 Vanderbilt Ave., has been sent an application and agreement to sell the KENO TO GO product.
  • Jill A. Petrovick will be submitting an e-mail with request Town By-Law Article XII, Sec. 33 be changed as it is out of date – thinks fines should be increased, dogs must be leashed, signs posted at all schools and increase police patrol at schools yards. Request because of dog attacks have been occurring at Prescott School.
  • Robert Thornton, Town Clerk and Accountant, will be submitting Audited Financial Statements for year ended June 30, 2011.
