Agenda for the Board of Selectmen, Jan. 17

The Norwood Board of Selectmen will meet tonight at 7:00 p.m. in room 34 of Town Hall. Here are the highlights from issues on tonight's agenda:

• Michael J. Howard., Chief, NFD, will be submitting a monthly report of department’s activities.
• Gregory Ryan, resident, will be submitting an e-mail about violation of truck traffic on Sumner St. between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m. and request for the Board not to make a decision on Norfolk Asphalt so he may present a formal letter with signatures of residents on Sumner St.
• Robert L. McGuire, Treasurer and Collector, will be submitting information on request to vote on the Aerial Ladder Truck – it was not a request to borrow but extend the maximum useful life of the truck from 5 to 15 years.
• Several organizations will be submitting requests to hold car washes in town starting in May.
