Electrical Accident Blamed For Washington Street Fire
Firefighters and Norwood Police responded to the structure fire Sunday during the late morning hours.

NORWOOD, MA — An electrical accident is being blamed for a Washington Street fire that erupted Sunday.
Firefighters and Norwood Police responded to the structure fire during the late morning hours. Photos from the scene showed smoke coming from the building.
Norwood Fire Chief George Morrice told the Boston Globe that the cause was an “accidental unspecified electrical event." More than $500,000 in damage was caused by the blaze.
