Five Things You Need to Know: April 17, 3-Mile Run for Marathon Bombing Victims, Ham Radio and More

Here are five things you need to know for Wednesday!

Today's Weather: Today will be mostly sunny, with a high near 64.  For tonight, mostly clear, with a low around 41, according to The National Weather Service.

1. Charles River Running, 679 Washington St. in Norwood, will have a 3-Mile Run for Marathon Victims at 6:30 p.m.  There will also be an option walk for 2 miles.  Participants are asked to wear blue and yellow.

2. Norwood Hospital, 800 Washington St. in Norwood, will have their Senior Supper Program at 4:45 p.m.  The dinner costs $5.50.

3. The Morrill Memorial Library, 33 Walpole St. in Norwood, will have an Amateur Radio Talk w/ Christopher Phillips event at 7 p.m.  He will talk about the exciting hobby of "ham radio," the ways in which it improves our lives every day, and how you can get involved.

4. There will be an Airport Commission Public Meeting at 12 p.m.  The meeting will take place at 125 Access Rd. in Norwood.
