Five Things You Need to Know: April 8, Fine Arts Festival, Senior Supper and More

Today's Weather: Today will be sunny, with a high near 64.  For tonight, a chance of showers, with thunderstorms after 5 a.m. Then increasing clouds, with a low around 48, according to The National Weather Service.

1. The 16th Annual Fine Arts Festival will take place at the Apollo Function Facilities, 615 Washington St. in Norwood, at 6 p.m.  Artwork from grades 1-12 will be on exhibit reflecting the district’s diverse and rich visual arts program.

2. Norwood Hospital, 800 Washington St. in Norwood, will have their Senior Supper Program at 4:45 p.m.  The dinner costs $5.50.

3. Clay Cheverolet, 391 Boston-Providence Tpke. in Norwood, is collecting toys to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
