Five Things You Need to Know: Mar. 29, Good Friday, Baseball Clinic and More

Today's Weather: Today there will be a slight chance of showers after 3 p.m. Then increasing clouds, with a high near 57.  For tonight, more showers before 11 p.m. Then mostly cloudy, with a low around 33, according to The National Weather Service.

1. The Ellis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 135 Ellis Ave. in Norwood, will have a free Lenten Lunch for Seniors at 12 p.m. Registration is required.

2. There will be a Baseball Strength and Conditioning Clinic at 111 Morgan Dr. in Norwood at 12 p.m. The clinic costs $10 to join.

3. The Grace Episc Church Study, 150 Chapel St. in Norwood, will have Good Friday events at 3 p.m.  Father John Brockmann will lead the children along the fourteen Stations of the Cross telling them the story of each station.  Pictures of the fourteen stations will be placed around the nave.  Although directed for youth, everyone is welcome.

4. Norwood Elks Lodge, 152 Winslow Ave. in Norwood, will have a Family Trivia Night at 7 p.m. The event costs $10 and all proceeds go to support the Norwood Music Program.

5. The United Church of Norwood, 595 Washington St. in Norwood, will have a Good Friday Reflection Worship.  The event starts at 7 p.m.
