2. The Norwood Recreation Department will hold an Ice Cream Social at the Hawes Pool area from 6:30-7:30 p.m. tonight. The community is invited to make their own ice cream and meet the summer playground staff. Admission is $2 per person.

3. Senior Bowling is offered every Thursday at the at 9:30 a.m. This is a mixed league and three strings are played for $6.

4. There will be a Friends of Norwood Center Meal Mob at The Sweeterie on Friday at 1 p.m. Come for an ice cream, help support small business and your downtown.

5. Local author Anna Staniszewski will be signing copies of her children's novel, "My Very Unfairytale Life," at on Saturday, June 30. What does a book have to do with mini-golf? The main character is not only a magical adventurer. She's also a mini-golf enthusiast! Come anytime between 5-7 p.m. Book reading and craft fun are free! Glow-in-the-dark mini-golf is $7 for "little monsters" and $8 for "big monsters."
