‘A Heart Of Gold’: Xaverian 2024 Graduation Shoutout

Norwood, Massachusetts — Graduation is a major milestone and deserves to be celebrated! That's why Patch and T-Mobile have teamed up to recognize our community's outstanding 2024 graduates.

He is my nephew

Tell us why they deserve to be nominated!

Nolan has a heart of gold. He cares about everyone. Nolan was born with several cardiac issues, which resulted in three major surgeries. Thankfully, he survived all three and has thrived. I believe this is one of the reasons for his caring about others. Nolan gives back. I know this personally because, when we were on a family outing, I had a health issue, for which I was subsequently hospitalized. He sat with me and stayed with me. He drove into Boston (what courage that took!) with his younger brother to visit me there! When I was released, he came and stayed with me so I could have help if I needed it. Nolan is also extremely intelligent, but he doesn’t comport himself with any sense of ego. He was inducted as a a Ryken scholar at Xaverian, a high honor indeed. That being said, it is his genuine caring and thoughtfulness that stands out to me. In the lingo of my generation, he is such a good kid! This is a young man who gives back without thought of any gain. He will be a wonderful man!

What's one thing you want everyone to know about your graduating student nominee?

Nolan is a wonderful human being, who reaches out, helps out, and truly cares about his fellow human beings, something that I think is unique in today’s world
