Nolan is a wonderful, caring young man, who has faced many issues in his young life. He had 3 cardiac surgeries during the first few years of his life. Nonetheless, he has overcome those obstacles (and still deals with some), but Nolan remains a kind, caring young man. He goes out of his way to help people, and not only family members. He has helped me personally time and time again. Nolan has a sunny personality and always has a smile. He has a wonderful sense of humor! He has volunteered at his previous grammar school to work with pre-k students and was wonderful with those little kiddos. Growing up, despite his obstacles, Nolan participated in youth sports and got along so well with his coaches and teammates. Nolan is a very caring person. Our family was on an outing when I had a physical issue. He stayed with me to make sure I would ok. I ended up in the hospital in Boston, and he drove himself and his younger brother into Boston to visit me while I was there. That’s a tough drive for anyone, I know that personally because I worked at that hospital for over 40 years!
Nolan is also a wonderful student. He was inducted into the National Honor Society. He was also named a Ryken Scholar at his high school. His perseverance is a very visible quality of his. I really feel Nolan should be recognized for his kindness and wonderful values, and for giving back without expectations of recompense! He will be going off to college in the fall, and, trust me, I will miss him so much! Thank you for giving this young man any consideration!
