Letter to the Editor: Thanks from the Norwood Food Pantry

To the Residents of Norwood and Westwood,

Once again, many thanks for the food donations from the residents of Norwood and Westwood who have come through in support of the Annual Letter Carriers’ Food Drive for the benefit of the Norwood and Westwood Food Pantries. 

A big vote of thanks goes to the Letter Carriers of Local 742 who picked up 15,250 lbs of food on May 12 as they made their mail deliveries. Thanks to over 50 volunteers who helped sort and move the food. This food will go a long way towards getting us through the summer when donations are generally down. Norwood alone is assisting over 300 families at present.
