A 13-5 loss to Catholic Memorial ended the boys varsity lacrosse season.

Norwood boys varsity lacrosse lost to Catholic Memorial Friday night, 13-5, in the second round of the MIAA East Division 2 Tournament.
The Mustangs finish the season with a 14-6 record.
Goalie Nick Nardelli held the 3-seeded Knights at bay with 25 saves. Andy Alty and Mike Murray each had one goal and one assist.
"Nick Nardelli stood on his head all day, kept us in it throughout," Coach Anthony Roman said. "Took four penalties in the second and CM converted all of them, really put ourselves in a hole."

Roman said early in the fourth the momentum was begining to swing toward the Mustangs, but two straight scoreless possessions and a converted turnover by the Knights equaled game over for Norwood.
Catholic Memorial will continue on to face the 6-seeded Medfield next week.
