A Norwood Center traffic crash temporarily diverted traffic Friday Afternoon. At approximately 2pm, Norwood Police and Fire Department responded to a report of a vehicle crash on Washington St. Upon arrival, crews located the crash on the northbound side just in front of #510 Washington St. Initial reports suggest the grey SUV was travelling southbound before crossing over the double yellow lines and collided with a Jeep that was parked in front of that address.
Washington St from Nahatan to Railroad was closed for about thirty minutes as emergency crews worked the scene. The cause of the crash is not known at this time nor if anybody was injured as a result of the accident. Both vehicle’s need to be towed from the scene. -FC
