Norwood Day: Another huge success!
Norwood Day, 2025 was held September 6, 2025 and was attended by thousands of residents, visitors, vendors and guests.

NORWOOD - Without argument, the 2025 Norwood Day celebration was a major success, bringing thousands of residents and visitors together for a day of community and fun. The annual event, held on September 6, 2025, transformed the town common and Washington St into a bustling hub of activity, filled with local vendors, entertainment, and family-friendly attractions. An estimated 5,000 people attended the event, which closed down Washington and Central Streets to accommodate the festivities.
Norwood Day highlighted the town's vibrant local scene, with a diverse array of vendors and organizations participating. The town common was packed with booths from local businesses, non-profits, and community groups, offering everything from artisan crafts and specialty foods to information on town services and volunteer opportunities. The event provided a significant boost to the local economy and strengthened community bonds by showcasing the best of what Norwood has to offer. The success of the event was underscored by the fact that all vendor booths were completely booked well in advance.
The day was filled with a variety of entertainment that kept attendees of all ages engaged. Live performances took place on the Chestnut Hill Realty Bandstand, featuring local musicians and performing arts groups. For families, the event offered numerous activities, including games, face painting, and other kid-friendly attractions.

The Norwood Recreation Department, which organizes the event, ensured there was something for everyone, making it a perfect day out for the entire family. On their Facebook page, the Recreation Department congratulated to the Women’s Community Committee on receiving the Anne Lydon Award for volunteerism during the event. A well deserved honor. -FC
