Friday, June 1
11:30 a.m. - Caller reported mulch fire by propane tanks at Stop & Shop on Boston-Providence Highway. Norwood Fire handled.
12:24 p.m. - Caller reported motor vehicle accident on Walpole St. Two vehicles towed from the scene. Police filed a report.

3:28 p.m. - Caller on Centennial Dr. reported iPad stolen. Police filed a report.
4:20 p.m. - Caller on Adams St. reported check stolen and cashed. Police filed a report.

5:30 p.m. - Walk-in to the department reported larceny at Norwood High School. Police filed a report.
9:07 p.m. - Detectives arrested Matthew R. Dinicola, of Norwood, at the Rama Shopping Center on Washington St. for selling/delivering liquor to a person under the age of 21, and possession of a class B substance.
9:32 p.m. - Caller on Endicott St. reported someone tried to steal a neighbor's car. Stated two youths fled the scene in black hoodies. Police checked the area with negative results.
10:51 p.m. - Caller reported hit and run on Edgehill Rd. Responding officer reported minimal damage to a parked vehicle. Canton PD notified as offending vehicle fled that way.
Saturday, June 2
3:39 a.m. - Caller reported electrical fire on E. Cross St. Norwood Fire handled.
12:31 p.m. - Caller reported a three car accident at Walpole and Hoyle streets. Police responded, two vehicles towed from the scene.
4:41 p.m. - Caller reported motor vehicle accident at Walpole St. and Buckminster Dr. Norwood Fire responded, two vehicles towed from scene.
Sunday, June 3
12:13 p.m. - Caller reported motor vehicle accident on Boston-Providence Highway. One vehicle towed from the scene.
1:38 p.m. - Officer moved some geese off the road at Boston-Providence Highway and Sumner St. Animal Control responded, stated animals gone.
2:28 p.m. - Caller at Stop & Shop on Boston-Providence Highway reported customer threw groceries around and then threatened to bring a bomb into the store. Officers responded, issued a BOLO for suspect.
6:22 p.m. - Caller reported breaking and entering to a motor vehicle at Work Out World on Boston-Providence Highway. Police filed a report.
