10:26 a.m. - Caller on Sumner St. reported ladder stolen. Police filed a report.

12:19 p.m. - Walk-in to the department reported losing her pocketbook at Dairy Fine on Fulton St. and it has not yet turned up. Police filed a report.

1:35 p.m. - Caller at Work Out World on Boston-Providence Highway reported a wallet stolen from a locker. Police filed a report.

5:24 p.m. - Officers arrested Christopher J. Cardinale, of Norwood, for trespassing on the railroad tracks and resisting arrest after an officer attempted to stop him on the MBTA tracks near Broadway.

6:58 p.m. - Security at Building 19 3/4 on Boston-Providence Highway reported two shoplifters detained. As a result, police arrested Ginette Grand-Pierre, of Hyde Park, and Marie Philippe, of Mattapan, for shoplifting by price tag tampering.
