Wednesday, Dec. 14

8:54 a.m. - Caller reported a hit and run at Boston-Providence Highway and Everett St. Police filed a report.

10:31 p.m. - Walk-in to the department reported items missing from home on Walpole St. Police filed a report.

2:26 p.m. - Two shoplifters were reported at Building 19 3/4 on Boston-Providence Highway. Parties were checked out and issued a letter of disinvite.

3:45 p.m. - Caller reported a hit and run in front of Boch New to You on Boston-Providence Highway. Police filed a report.

4:53 p.m. - Caller reported a motor vehicle crash at Railroad Ave. and Central St. One driver attempted to leave, vehicle was disabled in the MBTA lot. As a result police arrested Michael John Halpin, of Norwood, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alchohol (second offense), operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, leaving the scene of property damage, and failure to stop/yield.

5:43 p.m. - Caller at Building 19 3/4 reported shoplifter detained. Police verified subject's ID, filed a report.

5:54 p.m. - Caller reported a woman in a white Ford Bronco hit her vehicle at the North End Deli on Walpole St. and then left the area. Police located the vehicle and placed Kelly Anne Flanagan, of Norwood, under arrest, charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of property damage, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

6:27 p.m. - Caller on Whitewood Cir. reported breaking and entering to home, medication taken. Police on scene reported medication found outside the residence in the trash, filed a report.

Thursday, Dec. 15

12:10 a.m. - Caller reported a drunk male walking on Central St. near Olivadi's. Officers responded, reported the subject gone on arrival.

12:29 a.m. - Officers speaking with a suspicious party at Nahatan and Fulton streets. Subject was intoxicated and taken into protective custody, also the subject of two outstanding warrants.
