Friday, June 22

9:25 a.m. - Detectives arrested Angel R. Villafane, of Norwood, at IHOP on Boston-Providence Highway for felony breaking and entering, and attempting to break into a depository.

6:16 p.m. - Caller on Richland Rd. reported transformer explosion. Police and fire responded, Light Department to handle.

6:23 p.m. - Caller reported motor vehicle accident at Lenox St. Two vehicles towed from the scene. Police filed a report.

7:47 p.m. - Caller reported leaving wallet at Exotic Tans the previous night. Police filed a report.

8:07 p.m. - Caller reported motor vehicle accident at Winslow and Walnut avenues. Two vehicles towed from the scene. Police filed a report.

11:08 p.m. - Caller on Fulton St. reported smashed windshield. Police filed a report.

Saturday, June 23

3:58 a.m. - Caller reported he hit the Morse St. bridge with his motor vehicle. One car towed from the scene. Norwood Fire transported one to the hospital.

6:39 a.m. - Caller reported fallen tree blocking the road at Nahatan and Prospect streets. Officers stood by while DPW removed tree.

10:15 a.m. - Walk-in to the department reported breaking and entering to a motor vehicle at Work Out World on Boston-Providence Highway. Police filed a report.

7:51 p.m. - Officer came across drunk pedestrian at Washington St. and Fairview Rd. One taken into protective custody and released to a responsible party.

10:00 p.m. - Resident on Churchill Dr. reported a bear on her deck. Several more calls for the same. Contacted Massachusetts Environmental Police.

10:59 p.m. - Caller reported a fight on the second floor of the Four Points Sheraton on Boston-Providence Highway. As a result, police arrested for several counts of assault and battery.

11:02 p.m. - Caller on Nahatan St. reported car window broken. Police filed a report.

Sunday, June 24

2:44 a.m. - Caller reported a fight on the fourth floor of the Four Points Sheraton. As a result, police arrested Michael R. Poirier, of Biddeford, ME, for disorderly conduct and destruction of property.

8:37 a.m. - Walk-in to the department reported cell phone stolen at Jake 'n Joes the night before. Police filed a report.

10:02 a.m. - Caller reported syringe found near Morrill Memorial Library. Police found, disposed of same.

9:12 p.m. - Caller on Monroe St. reported neighbor drunk and threatening her. Responding officers placed one into protective custody.

9:36 p.m. - Caller reported motor vehicle stolen from the Town Hall parking lot. Police issued a BOLO to cars, filed a report. Vehicle found later.
