Thursday, Jan. 12 8:38 a.m. - Caller reported motor vehicle accident in front of the Balch School on Washington St. One vehicle was towed from the scene. 10:19 a.m. - Caller reported hit and run at Home Depot on Boston-Providence Highway. Subject returned and papers were exchanged. 10:26 a.m. - Caller reported theft of phone while at the hospital. Police filed a report. 10:38 a.m. - Caller reported attempted breaking and entering at Living Waters Church on Walpole St. overnight. Police filed a report. 3:30 p.m. - Caller reported an unwanted party on Monroe St. As a result of the call police arrested Shawn Robert Christy, of Norwood, for possession of a class E drug. 5:38 p.m. - Caller reported a multi-car crash at Neponset St. and Norton Dr. Two cars were towed from the scene. Police filed a report.
