7:00 a.m. - Caller reported all Norwood Broadband cable, internet and phone service out.
9:06 a.m. - Caller at Norwood Tire Co. reported vandalism to vehicle inside the lot. Appeared the heat may have broken the window.

4:25 p.m. - Resident on Fulton St. reported belief that someone entered her home and stole her leather jacket. Police filed a report.
4:40 p.m. - Caller on Village Rd. E reported two teenagers walking on the road have a handgun and are passing it between them. Responding officers located teens, stated item a replica gun. Youths were transported home.

5:13 p.m. - Caller reported dumpster fire near Town Pizza on Broadway. Norwood Fire handled the call.
5:58 p.m. - Caller reported two female shoplifters being detained at Building 19 3/4 on Boston-Providence Highway. Responding officers arrested Alexia Farrell, of Boston, and Inovina Barzey, of Hyde Park, for shoplifting by concealing merchandise.
10:13 p.m. - Caller reported lightning strike and fire on North Plain St. Norwood Fire handled.
