Friday, May 11

7:15 a.m. - Caller at Investors Way and Upland Rd. reported a deer hit his car and another. DPW was notified and responded.

8:17 a.m. - Walk-in to the department reported storage locker broken into on Washington St. Police filed a report.

9:59 a.m. - Caller at Custom Homes Building on Pleasant St. reported theft of metal from the property. Police filed a report.

4:04 p.m. - Caller reported needle found on the sidewalk of Pleasant St. Officer disposed of the same.

4:56 p.m. - Caller reported someone damaged her vehicle while in a parking lot on Village Rd. E. Police filed a report.

5:06 p.m. - Officer conducting a motor vehicle stop on Nahatan St. reported his vehicle struck. Citation issued to operator, accident report filed.

5:08 p.m. - Caller reported three parties broke into the female bathroom at the Balch School field. Police responded and arrested three juveniles, one male and two females, for misdemeanor breaking and entering and vandalism.

10:47 p.m. - Caller reported an assault at the David Terrace Apartments. Responding officers arrested Christopher Lee Piris, of Lawrence, for assault and battery.

Saturday, May 12

7:36 a.m. - Caller at the Olde Colonial Cafe reported finding syringe by the back door. Police disposed of the same.

5:29 p.m. - Caller at Hannaford Market on Walpole St. reported shoplifting. Police filed a report.

5:48 p.m. - Caller reported motor vehicle accident at Upland Rd. and Prospect St. NFD responded and one vehicle towed from the scene. Police filed a report.

8:53 p.m. - Caller reported kids fighting in the street at St. James Ave. Police checked the area, reported no kids found.

Sunday, May 13

6:32 a.m. - Walk-in to the department reported female party laying down on the sidewalk at Walnut and Winslow avenues. Police placed one into protective custody, NFD transported to the hospital.

9:20 a.m. - Caller on Wilson St. reported truck tailgate stolen. Police filed a report.

2:37 p.m. - Caller reported hit and run on parked car at Highview St. Police filed a report.

6:13 p.m. - Caller reported mulch fire at Sovereign Bank on Nahatan St. NFD responded, handled.

8:20 p.m. - Caller reported disturbance at Chapel St. residence. As a result, police placed Walter J. Jackson, of Norwood, under arrest for assault and battery.
