Norwood Schools Closed Monday for Martin Luther King Day

The Norwood schools will be closed Monday, Jan. 20, for Martin Luther King Day. They will re-open Tuesday, Jan. 21.

Norwood Retired Men's Club to Host Valentines Dinner Dance
The February meeting of the Norwood Retired Men's Club will be a Valentines Dinner Dance to be held at the Apollo Restaurant, Tuesday, Feb. 11, at noon. It will be open to all seniors; wives, sweethearts, lovers, significant others. As long as you’re over 60 you’re invited. The price is $30 per person and you’ll have a choice of scrod or prime rib. Tables of 10 can be reserved in advance of the Jan. 31 closing date. There will be a limited number, so plan early.

Norwood's Tara Hersey, a senior in international business and marketing and Danielle Wood, a freshman in international business and management were named to the fall semester's dean list at Bryant University.

Saint Catherine of Siena School Open House
Saint Catherine of Siena School will be hosting open houses, Sunday, Jan. 26, from noon to 1 p.m. and Wednesday, Jan. 29, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The school is for pre-k through eighth grade. For more information, call 781-769-5354, ext. 262, or go to admissions@scnorwood.org.
