Norwood, Walpole Libraries Collaborate On Social Security Presentation
This is the first of four financial programs that will be offered jointly between the two libraries during May, with locations alternating
NORWOOD, MA - The Morrill Memorial Library, in partnership with the Walpole Public Library, will host financial advisor Michael Graff for his presentation “Social Security: Know Your Options” on Monday, May 9 at 7 p.m. in-person in the Simoni Room.
Graff will offer information on Social Security claiming options and the best time for you to file for benefits.
Social Security represents the foundation of retirement income, and properly coordinating it with other income and asset sources is critical to establishing a retirement cash flow that will be sufficient to last throughout retirement. Attendees will review the essential elements of the program, along with recent changes that need to be understood before filing for benefits.

This is the first of four financial programs hosted in collaboration with the Walpole Public Library. The other programs in this series include "Rolling Over Your 401k & Understanding IRAs" (Thursday, May 12 at 7 p.m. in-person at Walpole Public Library); "Retirement Income Planning" (Monday, May 16 at 7 p.m. in-person at Morrill Memorial Library); and "Tax Planning for Retirement" (Wednesday, May 18 at 7 p.m .in-person at Walpole Public Library). Registration for this in-person program is required. Attendees can sign up to attend via the library calendar at this link or by calling the Reference Desk at 781-769-0200 x2. Masking is encouraged, but not required.
