Norwood Winter Storm Warning In Effect Early Saturday

NORWOOD - A winter storm warning will be in effect from 11:59 p.m. Friday night until late Saturday night for eastern Massachusetts, Norwood police announced, as at least two feet of snow is expected to fall.

"Heavy snow is expected with 18-25 inches possible in the Norwood area along with wind gusts up 60 mph," according to a post by Norwood police from the National Weather Service. "Travel will be impacted with driving conditions expected to be 'very difficult to impossible.'"

Avoid driving during this storm as Norwood Department of Public Works and other crews work to clear the streets.
