Norwood Woman Arrested on Charges of Selling Cocaine
Norwood Police arrested 31-year-old Elizabeth Misantone for allegedly selling cocaine out of her apartment.

On Wednesday Norwood Police Detectives and members of the Norfolk County Police Anti-Crime (NORPAC) Detectives Unit arrested 31-year-old Elizabeth Misantone, of 28 Sturtevant Ave., for allegedly selling cocaine out of her apartment.
The arrest came after a month long investigation by the Norwood Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
"Detectives acting on information that Misantone was selling narcotics out of her apartment set up surveillance," NPD spokesman Kevin Grasso said in an email Friday morning. "The defendant did sell cocaine to undercover Police Detectives on several occasions."

At 6:56 p.m. Wednesday, according to police logs, a search warrant was executed at the defendant’s residence as she was arrested and transported to the police station.
"Detectives discovered more contraband and cash related to drug distribution trade," Grasso said. "Found with in her property were several pills classified as a Class E narcotic. Misantone also had an outstanding warrant out of West Roxbury District Court."
Also arrested was Walter Nix, 31, of Mansfield, for outstanding warrants out of Taunton District Court. Nix was present in the apartment when the search warrant was executed but was not arrested on any new charges from Norwood police.
