Norwood's Fall Arts And Cultural Festival Seeks More Participants
The day-long celebration will take place on Sunday, Oct. 1 from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. at the Norwood Space Center campus at 83 Morse St.
NORWOOD, MA - The Norwood 150 Committee and the Norwood Space Center will host an arts and cultural festival celebrating Norwood's diversity on Saturday, October 1.
The day-long celebration will take place from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. at the Norwood Space Center campus at 83 Morse St. It will feature a community and cultural stage, international foods, family activities, dancing, artist vendors and more.
“Our hope is to involve as many community members who’d like to represent their own culture and artistic talents as possible," explained subcommittee chair Kate Sibbing-Dunn. “We are excited to co-host this festival featuring the art and culture of Norwood here at the Norwood Space Center campus."

"We look forward to people seeing what our space has to offer as the backdrop to this special event.” said Angela Merenghi, owner of Little Bird Events, whichis located at the Space Center.
The festival will feature many of the resident tenants and establishments including Luke Adams Glass Blowing, Boston Irish Brewing, The Magic Room and several studio artists.

Sibbing-Dunn stressed that, like other events celebrating the town's anniversary this year so far, "this event is for and by the community."
"We hope to represent the wide variety of countries and creatives that have been an integral part of Norwood’s culture from its inception until today," she added.
