Obituary: Alison E. Irving
Irving died suddenly in an automobile accident at the age of 24.

Alison E. Irving, of Norwood, formerly of Walpole, died suddenly by automobile accident, Dec. 27, 2011, at the age of 24.
Alison was born in Boston and graduated from Walpole High School, class of 2005. She then went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from Mt. Ida College, Class of 2009. She was employed as a veterinary technologist for Angell Memorial Hospital in Boston (MSCPA). She had a great love for animals. She was the loving daughter of her mother, Donna M. Gately, and her stepfather, Allan J. Gately Jr. of Norwood, and her father, Douglas J Irving of Sandwich; sister of Christian Irving of Foxboro, Graham Gately of Dedham, Harrison Gately of Norwood and Ashleigh Irving of Norwood; granddaughter of Miriam Hobart of Middleboro, Richard Cherella of N. Poufret, Vt., Jacqueline Irving of Wolfboro, N.H., and the late Robert Irving; aunt of Leah C. Irving of Foxboro.
