• New bill could pave the way for Mass. to take over Norwood Hospital (boston25news.com) — Norwood residents could see movement on the long-stalled hospital site as two state lawmakers file a bill allowing Massachusetts to take over Norwood Hospital by eminent domain in a health emergency. Town officials say the closed facility has created a regional care gap, with long ambulance transports, but note there’s active private interest in buying and reopening the property.
   

• Here's who made the U.S. figure skating team for the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics (nbcboston.com) — Norwood residents can cheer on hometown figure skater Maxim Naumov, 24, who has just been named to the U.S. men’s team for the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics. He’s one of 16 skaters selected after the U.S. championships in St. Louis, joining a mix of returning Olympians and first-time competitors across men’s, women’s, pairs, and ice dance events.
