Pet of the Week: Mutt and Jeff

Mutt and Jeff are three-year-old very adorable and friendly orange tabby cats who need a new home.

Mutt and Jeff are three-year-old very adorable and friendly orange tabby cats.  These nice boys need a new home because their senior owners must move into an assisted living facility that does not allow cats. Mutt and Jeff are very devoted to each other and need to find a forever home together. They have been loved and well cared for since they were babies.

They have always been strictly indoor cats. They love to run and play and wrestle with each other. The favorite thing for both boys is to be snuggled in a lap. Mutt and Jeff are trained to sleep in their crate at night. They get their treats and know it's bed time. They like their crate and even sometimes sleep in it during the day when the door is open. The crate and all their possessions will come with them to their new home.

This is going to be a very difficult transition for all parties involved. Though they are very social, loving and friendly in their home, Mutt and Jeff need a new family who understand that this change is going to be scary for them. All cats are very sensitive to changes in their environment and Mutt and Jeff will need patience and time to feel comfortable in their new home. The boys are accustomed to tons of love in a quiet home. Please call Neponset Valley Humane Society at 781 769 1990 or email us at nvhumanesociety@gmail.com if you would like to arrange a meeting with Mutt and Jeff.
