NORWOOD, MA - A Norwood police officer is recovering after being struck by a car following a motor vehicle stop Tuesday night. The officer was struck on Lenox Avenue in Norwood after a car fled a motor vehicle stop. Both Walpole Police and Foxborough Police assisted Norwood with the pursuit of that suspect.A Norwood man was arrested and faces several charges including operating with a suspended license and failing to submit a vehicle for inspection. Neither the identify of the officer or the suspect has been released. Patch will bring you more information as it becomes available.
