On Wednesday, President Barack Obama <a href="http://www.bostonherald.com/news/international/middle_east/view/20111215leon_panetta_formally_shuts_down_us_war_in_iraq/srvc=home&amp;position=4" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">fulfilled a campaign promise by ending a war in Iraq </a>that had lasted since March of 2003. While many are relieved that the troops are returning home, others, including some military personel, feel that withdrawing now is too early. Was the war in Iraq ended too early?
