Friday, Dec. 30

10:42 a.m. - Caller on Carnegie Row reported larceny of a plow. Police filed a report.

12:12 p.m. - Caller reported larceny at Norwood Hospital. Police filed a report.

2:57 p.m. - Caller reported a hit and run at Work Out World on Boston-Providence Highway. Police filed a report.

8:26 p.m. - Caller reported a friend in need of assistance for domestic issue. As a result, police arrested Brendan J. McElroy, of Norwood, for assault and battery. Police filed a report.

Saturday, Dec. 31

6:34 a.m. - Police received a 911 call from an apartment on Washington St. with yelling in the background and a woman stating she needs help. Police responded and arrested Pedro Alexander Lugo, of Norwood, for battery. A complaint was also made against the female party.

7:14 p.m. - Caller on Anne Rd. reported someone trying to break into her back door. Officers responded, spoke to resident and reported the house secure.

7:17 p.m. - Caller at Bay State Wine and Liquor on Walpole St. reported someone trying to use a fake I.D. Party left prior to police arrival.

10:01 p.m. - Caller on Ridgewood Dr. reported breaking and entering. Police filed a report.

11:17 p.m. - Police arrested two minors on Everett St. for transporting and possessing alcohol.

Sunday, Jan. 1

1:19 a.m. - Police placed a female party into protective custody at Washington St. and Sturtevant Ave. After speaking with the subject, police arrested Edgar Benicio Lopez, of Norwood, for assault and battery.

1:40 p.m. - Caller reported credit card stolen at IHOP on Boston-Providence Highway. Police filed a report.

3:33 p.m. - Caller reported iPad missing at Monster Golf on Boston-Providence Highway. Police filed a report.

5:31 p.m. - Caller at IHOP on Boston-Providence Highway reported a group of kids left without paying. Police filed a report.

Monday, Jan. 2

11:03 a.m. - Caller at Infinity of Norwood on Boston-Providence Highway reported car broken into overnight. Police filed a report.

3:10 p.m. - Caller at Hannaford Market on Walpole St. reported a shoplifter fled toward Endicott St. Police filed a report.

4:52 p.m. - Resident on Walpole St. reported a smell of gas. NFD and National Grid handled the issue.

9:15 p.m. - Caller at CVS on Nahatan St. reported a counterfeit bill. Officers will investigate.

10:33 p.m. - Caller reported breaking and entering to a motor vehicle at Work Out World on Boston-Providence Highway. Police filed a report.
