The town offered suggestions of places to keep cool during this week's heatwave, with temperatures hovering in the 90s into the weekend

NORWOOD, MA - People looking for places to keep cool in Norwood during this week's heatwave have several options, according to the town's website.

One option is the Morrill Memorial Library. It is air conditioned and has spaces for everyone, from families with small children to folks seeking a quiet place to read a book or a magazine. It's a great place to stay cool while using the free Wi-Fi, Fi, browsing the Library of Things collection, or reading. The hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m.-9 pm. and on Friday from 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

The Norwood Recreation Department offers several programs at the Civic Center, located at 165 Nahatan St. Its hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m.- 7 p.m.
